The district is proposing a decrease in its total tax rate. The proposed rate of $0.860000 per $100 valuation is a 3.37% reduction from the previous year’s adopted rate. For the average homeowner, this is projected to result in a very slight decrease of $6.49 (-0.23%) in their annual tax bill, as the lower rate partially offsets the rise in average home appraised values.
